Overnight Porridge with Pineapple and Banana
Who doesn't like that oats are so versatile? Or the fact that this meal can be consumed almost anywhere? This recipe is one of our favourites. It is the perfect grab-and-go breakfast.
So, what exactly are overnight oats (for those that live under a rock)? Overnight oats are oats that have not been cooked, but instead been put to rest with a type of milk, or yoghurt, and all the delicious goodies (ie. fruit, cocoa powder, sweetner, nuts etc) in the fridge overnight.
Oats are one of the most popular and widely consumed cereal grain, in the world. Whether loved or hated, oats are most prized for their great nutritional value and several components that have been proposed to exert health benefits.
We believe that porridge is desired asset to those trying to lose weight and control hunger levels due to its high water and soluble fibre content.
