What is it?
Here in the UK, we are exposed to so many smashing ethnic dishes. Originating from India, Chana Masala is similar to a warm stew that you bring together in a pot. Chickpeas are the star of the show. With them comes other usual ingredients like onion, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, and spices.
There are many ways to enjoy a traditional Pumpkin Chana Masala - from crispy coconut rice to Naan bread. However, we have decided to be less traditional and pair our Pumpkin Chana Masala with Brown rice. Great way to boost your daily fibre intake.
Ingredients:
Pumpkin chana (46.9%) [pumpkin (34.8%), water, chickpeas, tomatoes, coriander, coconut oil, spice mix ] [ground cumin, garam masala, amchoor (dried mango powder), turmeric, salt, fenugreek, coriander, chilli powder] , ginger, xylitol, tofu (26.6%) (soya, sulphites), cooked brown rice, cashew nuts (tree nuts)
Allergens: Contains soya, sulphite, nuts
Storage: Store frozen.
Reheating Instructions: Microwave on full power from frozen. 700w 8mins / 800w 7mins / 900w 6mins. Remove outer packaging and pierce film. Place on plate. Cook for 5 minutes, peel back film, stir. Re-cover and continue cooking. Stir thoroughly. Check food is piping hot. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Do not reheat once cooled. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
